Track every application:
- Company name
- Role applied for
- Date applied
- How you applied (job board, referral, direct)
- Status (applied, phone screen, rejected, etc.)
- Follow-up dates
Use a spreadsheet or tool like Huntr, Notion, or Teal.
Follow-up strategy:
- If no response after week: Follow up with recruiter on LinkedIn
- If no response after weeks: Send one more follow-up
- After that: Move on, but leave the door open
