Roles that have been posted for weeks already have hundreds of applicants. Apply to jobs posted within the last days whenever possible. Set up job alerts so you see new postings immediately. The first applicants often get reviewed before the pile becomes overwhelming. Speed matters. A perfect application submitted late is worse than a good application submitted early.
