In the early 2010s, Facebook interviews were chaotic. Different teams had different processes. Some asked brain teasers, others focused purely on coding. In 2013, Facebook standardized on structured interviews: two coding rounds, one system design (for senior), and one behavioral. They dropped brain teasers entirely. The "Move Fast" culture shaped everything. Unlike Google's lengthy committee process, Meta optimized for speed. You could go from phone screen to offer in 3 weeks. That speed is still part of their DNA.
