LACP uses priorities to determine which switch controls port selection and which ports are active. System priority (default ) identifies the controlling switch. Lower is better. Port priority (also default ) determines which ports become active when there are more than ports. LACP bundles support up to links, but only can be active simultaneously. The rest stay in standby. The switch with lower system priority decides which ports are active based on port priorities.
