PSK (Pre-Shared Key) mode uses a single password for all users. Everyone who knows the password can connect and decrypt traffic from other users. When someone leaves the organization, you must change the password and redistribute it. Enterprise mode (X) authenticates each user individually through a RADIUS server. Users log in with unique credentials. You can revoke access for one person without affecting others. Enterprise mode provides accountability since you know exactly who connected.
