Most companies use a rubric with - categories, each scored -:
Problem Solving: Did you structure your approach? Did you handle ambiguity?
Technical Knowledge: Do you understand the building blocks? Can you explain trade-offs?
System Design: Is your architecture sound? Does it meet requirements?
Communication: Did you explain your thinking? Did you respond well to feedback?
You need "Strong Hire" (+) in most categories to pass. One weak area can be offset by strength elsewhere, but "Not Hire" in any category usually fails you.
