Set up your practice environment before interviewing:
Whiteboard tool: Excalidraw, Miro, or draw.io. Practice drawing diagrams quickly. Your boxes should be neat enough to read.
Timer: Use a -minute timer during practice. Stop when it rings, even mid-sentence.
Recording: Record yourself explaining designs. Watch for filler words, long pauses, and unclear explanations.
Most virtual interviews use CoderPad, Excalidraw, or the company's internal tool. Practice with at least one online whiteboard before your interview.
