Interviewers challenge your design intentionally. "What if this fails?" "That won't scale." Don't get defensive.
Respond constructively: "Good point. For failure, we could add..." or "You're right, at x scale we'd need to shard by...". Pushback tests your ability to iterate and collaborate, not your ego.
