Claude Code accepts images ways. Drag an image file into the terminal window. Press Ctrl+V to paste a screenshot from your clipboard. Or include a file path in your message: "Analyze this: /path/to/diagram.png".
I find image input most useful for error screenshots from browsers or mobile devices, UI mockups you want Claude to turn into code, and architecture diagrams you want explained or implemented. If a test is failing in CI and you only have a screenshot of the log, paste it in and Claude reads the image the same way it reads text.
