Your Obsidian vault is just a folder of markdown files. Claude Code already knows how to navigate file systems and read or write markdown. Open your terminal, cd into your vault directory, and run claude. That's it. You're now working inside your second brain with a full AI agent.
I'll show you ways to connect Claude Code to your Obsidian vault. The simplest is direct filesystem access. From there you can add an MCP bridge or an embedded plugin. Each fits a different workflow, and you can switch between them as your vault grows.
