The mirror problem
The mirror of sliding window maximum is sliding window minimum. Instead of a monotonic decreasing deque, use a monotonic increasing deque. The front holds the minimum.
Remove elements from back when the new element is smaller (not larger). Everything else stays the same. Some problems need both max and min simultaneously. Use two deques.
