Application - Circuit Design

(Fault tolerance in circuits)

In electronic circuit design, bridges and articulation points identify critical connections that must be protected. A bridge is a wire whose failure breaks the circuit. An articulation point is a junction whose failure isolates parts of the circuit.

Circuit designers add redundant paths around critical components to ensure the circuit remains functional even if a component fails. This improves reliability and fault tolerance.
