Look at different graphs and identify whether they are directed or undirected, cyclic or acyclic, connected or disconnected. This trains your pattern recognition.
You need to classify graphs quickly in interviews. Seeing "dependencies" or "prerequisites" means directed acyclic graph. "Bidirectional roads" means undirected.
Practice looking at a problem statement and mentally drawing the graph structure. That is the first step to solving any graph problem.
