A flow assignment tells you how much flow currently moves through edge . Two rules must hold:
Capacity constraint: for every edge.
Flow conservation: For every node except source and sink, flow in equals flow out.
Flow conservation means nodes do not create or destroy flow. They pass it along. Only the source creates flow and only the sink consumes it.
