To run AutoResearch, you need:
- A single NVIDIA GPU. Karpathy tested on an H. Community forks exist for the RTX , macOS with MLX, and AMD GPUs.
- Python or newer.
uv, an ultra-fast Python package manager.git, for version control and the experiment ledger.
If you don't have an H, check the community forks. You can run the same core loop on smaller hardware, though each experiment will take longer to train.
