The simplest fine-tuning format pairs an instruction with a response. You're teaching the model: "When you see input like this, produce output like that."
Example:
Instruction: "Summarize this article in sentences." Response: "The article discusses... Key findings include... The author concludes..."
This format works for most task-specific fine-tuning.
