The algorithm: 1. Build an adjacency list from prerequisites 2. For each course, run DFS if unvisited 3. DFS marks nodes as "visiting" when entering, "visited" when leaving 4. If DFS reaches a "visiting" node, there's a cycle 5. Return true only if no cycle is found
