De Morgan's Laws

Complement identities

De Morgan's laws relate complements to union and intersection:

1.1. (AB)c=AcBc(A \cup B)^c = A^c \cap B^c

2.2. (AB)c=AcBc(A \cap B)^c = A^c \cup B^c

These laws let you rewrite expressions involving complements. For example, the complement of a union equals the intersection of complements.
