- Claude Sonnet: default for most coding tasks, good balance of speed and quality
- Claude Opus: complex architectural decisions, thorough code review
- GPT-: broad knowledge questions, alternative perspective when stuck
- Cursor's Composer model: fastest for multi-file edits
If one model struggles, try another. They have different strengths.
