Exercise: List accomplishments from your previous career. For each one:
Write the original version (how you'd describe it to a friend)
Identify the underlying skill (communication, problem-solving, leadership)
Rewrite using tech-adjacent language
Example transformation:
- Original: "Helped angry customers calm down"
- Skill: De-escalation, communication under pressure
- Tech version: "Resolved stakeholder conflicts and maintained productive relationships during high-pressure situations"
