Let me walk you through creating your first cron job. Run openclaw cron add and the CLI walks you through $4$ 4 fields: a human-readable name, a cron schedule expression, a timezone (defaults to your system timezone), and the message to send the agent when the job fires.

Here is an example that runs every weekday at $9$ 9 AM:

openclaw cron add \
  --name "daily-standup" \
  --schedule "0 9 * * 1-5" \
  --timezone "America/New_York" \
  --message "Summarize yesterday's git commits and open PRs"

Once added, the job appears in openclaw cron list and runs until you remove it with openclaw cron remove daily-standup.
